Nicky is passionate about the subtlety of changing natural light and the creation of stained glass works which enhance the architectural space. For this exhibition, she is making some new pieces for the large glazed areas in The Courtyard’s foyer, allowing the daylight to interact and play with the coloured glass in dramatic ways. This exploration of new designs and approaches involves collaboration with Jane Smith, whose sculptural greenwood frames are an integral part of the series.
