Arts and Older People

You may have read in the Herefordshire press recently that The Courtyard has been very successful in securing funding for the next three years for an Arts and Older People Officer. Alex Outhwaite has now started working at The Courtyard and will be co-ordinating projects taking place all over Herefordshire for older people living in the county.

Part of the project also encompasses training for people working with older people so that the arts can become a regular hobby and activity for older people in their care. Our aim is to enrich and enhance lives of older people living in Hereford making their retirement years more enjoyable.
