Calling Artists

The Visual Arts panel usually meets in January and July to look at work that has been submitted by artists wishing to exhibit at The Courtyard. This year, 2012 the panel will meet in April and September. The panel welcomes submissions form artists working in either two or three dimensions, and work is selected for its excellence and contemporary qualities. There are approximately six exhibition periods per year and The Courtyard aims to showcase a diverse range of work from local, national and international artists, ranging from established artists to those at the start of their career.

There are three exhibition spaces: The Gallery, which is enclosed and can accommodate larger work, and the Upper and Lower Canyon balcony areas.

This year we are also calling for Artists who make their own high quality greetings cards to sell at our Box Office. For this we need to see a range of finished cards, mostly blank interior but some occaisions such as Christenings, weddings etc.

Submission Guidelines - The next Visual Arts Panel Meeting will be in April 2012

We take submissions all year round and look at them at the panel meetings.

Please note that the exhibition spaces are currently booked for most of 2013 and  we are looking forward to 2014
