Public transport

Bus services including the 72 to Bobblestock, 492 to Leominster and the 38 from Ross-on-Wye, stop just outside The Courtyard. Full details of the bus company schedules here.

Hereford railway station is approximately a fifteen minute walk from The Courtyard. There is a busy taxi rank situated at the station.

Cycle route

Details of all cycle routes around the county are available in the Herefordshire Cycle Guide that can be obtained from Herefordshire Council. The Great Western Way route which crosses Hereford from north to south, comes out in Penhaligon Way.

Car parking

There is limited pay and display ticketed parking available adjacent to The Courtyard off Penhaligon Way.

Car parking enforcement is in operation. Please ensure you park within a designated bay and display a valid ticket. Both daytime and evening charges apply.

Daytime charges for the car park between 8am and 6pm on all days are:

Up to 30 minutes    30p
Up to 1 hour      60p
Up to 2 hours    £1.10
Up to 3 hours     £1.50
Up to 4 hours    £2.50
Over 4 hours     £4.50

Evening charges apply after 6pm: £1.50

Users of The Courtyard attending or taking part in activities over 3 hours can purchase a £2 day permit from the box office on proof of attendance.

Up to 10 minutes parking is free within designated bays.

There is further public parking available a couple of minutes walk away from The Courtyard at Merton Meadow, behind the football ground, which is free after 6pm and in Garrick House multi-storey car park off Blackfriars Street.

Please respect our neighbours and do not park in adjacent residential areas.
