The Sunday Social Lunchtime Line-up

The Sunday Social brings you new music from bands and DJs on the last Sunday of each month from 12:00 – 2:00pm in The Courtyard Café Bar. From Folk to Down-tempo, Reggae to Trip-hop, this varied programme of music provides the backdrop to your lazy Sunday afternoon.

This Summer sees one of the Sunday Socials best line ups to date. Kicking the season off we welcome home grown talent in the form of Physics, bring their own interpretation of indie to the cafe bar. Then we move over to Worcestershire to welcome BBC Radio favourite Wes Dance who makes his Sunday Social debut. Following this up we'll be introducing you to the psychedelic folk of Sproatly Smith and finally, drawing the season to a close, we welcome Malvern based duo Vo and Tyler and festival favourities Two Man Ting.

 

25th September 2011 - Two Man Ting

TwoManTing was formed in 2004, when Jon Lewis and Jah-man Aggrey were working together in world/dance band Le Cod Afrique, performing at the likes of WOMAD, Montreux Jazz Festival and Glastonbury. 

Since then, the duo has been performing regularly throughout the UK, and particularly on the Festival circuit. Festie shows have included Glastonbury, the Secret Garden Party, Musicport, Green Man, Whychwood,  Big Green Gathering, Off the Tracks, Sunrise Celebration, Broadstairs Folk Week, Small World, Waveform....to name but a few.

Recent arts centre shows have incuded support slots for Mali desert-blues legends, Tinariwen, and Muntu Valdo. TwoManTing are regularly featured on UK and US radio stations.
