Left to explore her new home, Coraline finds a hidden door to a world where her “other” parents live only to see Coraline well fed and endlessly entertained. All is not cakes and parties however, and the wicked intentions of her “other mother” are soon revealed. Ripe with colours, magic and mystery this starts off in traditional children’s fantasy territory, but does get quite scary towards the end.
