"Spider" John Koerner, American folk and country blues musician, rhythmic guitarist, song-crafter, singer, and humourist, shapes his musical style from a solid foundation of the old blues masters, respect for traditional song, and a firm command of his source material.
Some artists have a built-in cool factor that can be seen in their influence on others. Spider John had a great deal of influence on Bonnie Raitt, Dylan, Lennon & the Doors. As one of folk and blues' greatest innovators he got the blues revival of the '60s going and has kept it going strong ever since. He retains the elements that have made him the legend that he is.
