A Grand Success

The Courtyard’s Annual Grand Draw is most successful to date!

The Courtyard has recently received some much needed financial support during its annual Grand Draw raffle. This year’s Grand Draw has been the most successful to date, raising over £4,000 with over 4,000 tickets sold. This is almost double the amount of The Courtyard’s 2015 draw!

Winning tickets were drawn this month and winners received prizes which were generously donated by supportive local businesses. These included a luxury two-night break at The Castle House, a gold and precious stone necklace donated by jeweller Mike Gell, a £30 Beefy Boys voucher, a year’s supply of Bulmers and haircut vouchers from Peter Prosser.

Melanie Denning, Fundraising Manager, said: “Thanks to our generous donors and all of the ticket buyers for their great support. The fact that this year’s draw raised almost double that of 2015 demonstrates our customers wanting to support us after the loss of our council funding.”
