The Courtyard is open from 9am (Box Office and Café Bar from 10am) until late, Monday to Saturday.
We are only open on Sundays for planned events (at least 90 minutes before curtain up). A full food service will be offered before afternoon events. If you wish to eat with us and to guarantee your table, please book in advance by calling 01432 346525. The reduction in Sunday opening hours follows the withdrawal of funding from Herefordshire Council.

The Courtyard is situated in central Hereford, opposite the Edgar Street football ground. We are five minutes walk away from the main shopping centre, and within easy reach of the railway and bus stations.
There is a pay and display car park adjacent to the building.
There is limited pay and display ticketed parking available adjacent to The Courtyard off Penhaligon Way.
Car parking enforcement is in operation. Please ensure you park within a designated bay and display a valid ticket. Both daytime and evening charges apply.
Up to 10 minutes parking is free in any bay. There is further public parking available a couple of minutes walk away from The Courtyard at The Old Market off Blackfriars Street and in Merton Meadow, behind the football ground. Please respect our neighbours and do not park in adjacent residential areas.
Daytime charges between 8am and 6pm on all days are:
Up to 30 minutes 70p
Up to 1 hour £1.20
Up to 2 hours £2.20
Up to 4 hours £3.20
Over 4 hours £10.00 (to expire at 8am the following day)
After 6pm there is a fixed fee of £2.20 (to expire at 8am the following day)
Users of The Courtyard attending or taking part in activities over 4 hours can purchase a £3.20 day permit from the Box Office on proof of attendance.
Friends of The Courtyard Parking Voucher Scheme
A voucher scheme operates in this car park that enables Courtyard Friends members to claim a discount at the Café Bar. When a fee of £2.20 or more is paid at a ticket machine, a Café Bar voucher for £2.20 in addition to the pay and display ticket will be issued. The voucher can be used as part or full payment for food and drink items when presented with a valid Courtyard Friends membership card at the Café Bar. Full terms and conditions available here.

Hereford railway station is a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute taxi ride) from The Courtyard. Direct services are available to Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham and London. Please see National Rail for details of train times.
There is a bus stop right outside The Courtyard and the city bus station is only a 5 minute walk away (County bus station 10 minutes). Please see Traveline West Midlands for details of bus times.
The Great Western Way cycle route comes out 100 yards from The Courtyard, providing direct traffic free access to the west and south of the city. Covered parking is provided for 20 cycles with a further 4 open cycle racks adjacent to the main entrance. For further details of local cycle routes, visit the Herefordshire Council website.
Some transport services are available for outings to The Courtyard for those with no car or access to public transport.
