Canary Girls Exhibition Mon 19 – Tue 27 November 2018

The Courtyard are exhibiting photographs of female munitions workers from the first world war that have been kindly donated by members of the public and Herefordshire Libraries, Archive and Museum collections.

This exhibition is in conjunction with live, theatre performance Canary on Monday 26 November, 7.45pm. Created in collaboration with award winning Spanish theatre company Teatro En Vilo, Canary seamlessly combine high quality physical theatre with contemporary sound design, the show offers audiences a rare insight into life during the First World War from the unique perspective of Britain’s munitions workers; The Canary Girls. Canary is a massive success and has sold out but you can call Box Office for returns on 01432 340555.

A reflective display of Herefordshire’s history, the Canary Girls exhibition is up now and free to view in The Courtyard’s foyer.
