Brave volunteers count down the days to The Courtyard Abseil

If you haven’t signed up to our 25th Anniversary Abseil yet, what are you waiting for!

On Saturday 9 September 2023, we are teaming up with The Boulder Barn to give you the opportunity to abseil down The Courtyard building!

This is a great opportunity to be part of the first ever abseiling event at The Courtyard, and also a fantastic way to fundraise for us by abseiling down the building. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year, so why not be part of something special? Abseilers will pay a non-refundable £25 registration fee to secure their place which covers the cost of the abseil with a promise to raise a minimum of £100 (due to The Courtyard before the abseil).

The Chair of The Courtyard Trust, Bruce Freeman, has volunteered to participate. Bruce confesses that he is ‘terrified of heights!’ Normally, the third step on a ladder is all he can manage! So if you want to sponsor someone who will be genuinely scared, then, as he said, ‘I’m your man!’
