A Courtyard joint fundraiser with Herefordshire Veterans Support Centre. Krish is a world-class high-altitude mountaineer, SAS Mountain leader & professional guide.

Krishna Thapa Magar grew up in the Nepal Himalaya, beneath Annapurna. At 19, he was one of the first to join the British Ghurka and became the first to pass selection from RGR and enter the British SAS in the regiment’s history. For the past 26 years, he has served on the front line in Afghanistan and Iraq, on combat missions & in a training capacity. One of his roles supporting fellow soldiers, was as a mountain specialist and mental health awareness.

Krish is a highly accomplished and engaging speaker who has inspired audiences from many different backgrounds. Using his extraordinary combination of frontline special forces leadership experience with his spiritual background, Krish’s talks leave a lasting positive impact on his audience.

From growing up in the Himalayas, explore Krishna’s journey through the Gurkhas and eventually through selection to the SAS, becoming the head of the mountain troops. He has scaled Mount Everest himself and is currently leading an expedition to train, prepare and guide two double amputee veterans to the top of Everest in 2023. His passion for integrating ancient lessons into his modern leadership makes him a truly inspirational person to listen to. Don’t miss your chance to hear him speak about his incredible life and adventures live at The Courtyard Hereford.
