The Mikado

Thursday 1 January 1970
Duration: 125 minutes

Join the multiple award-winning Hereford Gilbert & Sullivan
Society for this year’s production of Mikado, a topsy-turvy
musical satire of English society set in the fictional Japanese
town of Titipu.
Featuring some of Gilbert & Sullivan’s best-known songs,
including Three Little Maids and I’ve Got A Little List, it is
the story of some unlucky star-crossed lovers, an unfilled
beheadings quota at the county jail, and one enormous
conspiracy with hilarious consequences.
You will laugh out loud in the company of Nanki-Poo, YumYum,
Pooh-Bah and Ko-Ko, with all the signature razor-sharp
dialogue and fabulously catchy melodies of Gilbert & Sullivan.
