Panto Launch 2024!

A great day had by all (oh yes it was!)

Earlier this month, on Sunday 8 September, we hosted our annual pantomime launch, with four of the cast members from Sleeping Beauty. We welcomed two familiar faces, Madi McMahon as Gwyllion and Andrew Franklin as Wallie, as well as two new additions, Lauren Steele as Nellie and Geraint Edwards as Prince Dudley.

Panto Day video

Every year we film a fun spoof style video to release on Panto Day. We started off the day filming a really exciting project, and spoof video, in preparation for Panto Day 2024. The Task At Hand came in and filmed the video and we shot some behind-the-scenes photos and short clips.

Around the building

We then took the cast around the building, filming promotional short clips and taking photos that can be used for marketing the panto in the lead up! The cast tried ice creams, pulled pints, and had a look around The Courtyard Shop, all whilst taking part in TikTok trending videos!

Green screen shots

Finally, we took some green screen shots of the cast that can be used on our leaflets, banners and road signs. Each cast had photos taken individually and then we took some group pictures as well.

It was a full day jam packed with panto silliness, but we had lots of fun with the cast, who took everything in their stride!
