Celebrating World Book Day at The Courtyard

World Book Week 2021

24th February 2021

It’s not just World Book Day at The Courtyard, this year we are hosting a whole World Book Week!

Our Education Team have created a series of free, online workshops to celebrate World Book Week every day.

From Monday 1 – Friday 5 March, families and schools can visit The Courtyard’s Facebook Page at 10am . Here, a range of practitioners will be delivering free, 45 minute workshops. Each workshop will be linked to a different children’s book.

In addition to the workshops, on Tuesday 2 and Thursday 4 March, bestselling children’s authors Alan Stott and Cally Gee will be reading excerpts of their books at 1.30pm via The Courtyard’s Facebook page.

The sessions aim to help children of all ages and abilities to engage with drama and literacy in a fun and creative way.

Activity packs for each workshop are also available to download here.
