3 Counties Youth Theatre Festival 2025

The 3 Counties Youth Theatre Festival is always a big date in The Courtyard Youth Theatre’s calendar. The festival sees 3 different youth theatre groups from 3 different counties (Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire) come together for a day of workshops and performances. It’s a great chance for our young people to meet others that are interested in theatre and the arts. It also gives us a chance to share performances, and even collaborate on performances together.

Groups arrived in the morning, and as we had the whole building to ourselves, the schools went into the main house to meet each other and get into their workshop groups. We hosted workshops on clowning, animal movement and script work.

After the workshops,  it was time to get ready for the afternoon’s performances. As groups were off rehearsing with tutus and dance sequences, some even took the opportunity to come up with new scenes with each other. The performances were all great fun and it was amazing to see our young people supporting and cheering each other on.

It was an honour to host this year’s festival and we can’t wait for next year!
