The Green Dragon is one of the oldest hotels in Britain, with roots dating back more than 900 years to an inn on this site, owned by the Bishops of Hereford, called the White Lyon. Located in the historic heart of the city of Hereford, The Green Dragon is an easy 15 minute walk from Hereford Train Station. Pay and display parking is located at the rear of the hotel on a first come first serve basis. If traveling by car please use postcode HR4 OBU to find their car park on Aubrey Street. If the hotel car park is full, there are several easy to find NCP car parks in the immediate area.

East Friars is an eclectic family home situated on the banks of the River Wye in Hereford. A ten minute walk to The Courtyard and just five minutes from the City Centre or open countryside. They welcome guests to their relaxed, laid back, comfortable family home, offering a large family room (one queen-size plus two singles) with ensuite bathroom and views of the river, a double overlooking the garden, Dolly the queen of Shepherds huts and a garden annex room.

The house is full of books, art and (often) music, a great place to just relax, be yourself and eat great home-cooked food. Breakfast and evening meals are provided by Polly who retrained as a Chef after years in marketing. Enjoy locally sourced food and homemade bread in the Conservatory overlooking the River Wye. They are happy to provide a pack-lunch for your onward journey. You’ll meet their very friendly, young Cockerton called Bea, two cats, two doves and offspring of varying ages. They pride themselves on being friendly and informal – and children (and well behaved pets) are welcome too!
