5 Fabulously Festive Things to do at The Courtyard

It is officially December which means we are now allowed to be excited for Christmas! With so many things happening over the festive season we thought we would put together a list of what you can do at The Courtyard this December to get you in the Christmassy mood!

1) Get the gang together for a giggle

Get your friends or colleagues together for a Heineken Comedy Club at The Courtyard. To keep up with demand over Christmas we have added in Comedy Clubs on a Saturday as well as our usual Friday night slots. If you’re coming in a group of 10 or more then speak to our Cafe Bar about booking in for our Festive Fork buffet menu, featuring a host of traditional Christmas food to enjoy before the show!

2) Shout ‘it’s behind you’ at the cast of Aladdin

It wouldn’t be Christmas without Pantomime – oh no it wouldn’t! This year Aladdin takes to the stage on a quest for the magic lamp and the heart of Princess MoLi. After being rewarded five stars by The Stage and being described as a ‘Superior pantomime from a talented ensemble cast’ this year’s performance is not to be missed!

3) Go on a magical adventure with The Snow Queen

If your little ones are too little for Pantomime then bring them along to The Snow Queen; a magical adventure telling the story of Kay and Gerda. This production features exciting characters and fun songs to entertain children aged 7 and under, and their grown-ups too!

4) Get crafting for your Christmas table

If you fancy getting crafty this Christmas then why not attend our Christmas Table Decoration Workshop with florist Debbie Coplans from The Hibiscus Room. The end result of the workshop will be a sumptuous floral display ideal for adorning your Christmas table with a buffet lunch and glass of wine to finish.

5) Escape the hustle & bustle

If all of the Christmas shopping crowds are getting too much to bear then head over to our Cafe Bar to warm up. Take a breather on our sofas or sneak up to the Mezzanine and admire our Christmas decorations whilst enjoying a hot drink with a slice of homemade cake!
