How To Train Your Dragon!

Learn How to Train Your Dragon at Herefordshire’s Family Festival with Agent Green, The Dragon Whisperer!

Wednesday 28 October, 10am – 7pm

Learn how to train a dragon and much more at The Courtyard’s First Family Festival!

Maud and BalloonOur festival will draw from the local legend and story of Maud and the Dragon of Mordiford. Agent Green, the world’s only living Dragon Whisperer, will be holding Dragon Masterclasses to advise young dragon tamers on dragon management in a unique crazy spoof lecture, with hot tips on stabling, feeding and veterinary care, including What To Do If The Flame Goes Out!

There will also be adventures from her high flying career with DCHQ (Dragon Conservation Headquarters). All dragon fans are welcome and encouraged to bring along their Dragons, as well as questions for a Dragon Q+A!

There will also be the opportunity to take a Dragon Tour with The Courtyard’s own Wizard and to discover The Courtyard’s secret Dragon’s lair!

This will all come together in a performance of the local story of Maud and the Dragon by The Courtyard’s Youth Theatre, with Agent Green and the Wizard at 4.30pm.

The Family Festival has something for everyone in a mystical day full of spellbinding stories, fantastical fairytales, castles, gingerbread houses, dragons, knights, princesses, mermaids and underwater worlds. There will be workshops, performances, music, films and stories perfect for kids of all ages during half term, with Open Sky Productions, The Fetch Theatre Company, The Garrick Singers, 2Faced Dance, Music Pool and The Courtyard’s Youth Theatre.
