Made in Ross Celebrate 2nd Anniversary!

It is now two years since Made in Ross first started showing their art and craft upstairs in The Market House in Ross-on-Wye. The collective was formed in response to an initiative by The Courtyard whose expression of interest to use the then empty Market House was accepted by Ross Town Council.

Since May 2015 Made in Ross have been displaying and selling their art and craft in the upstairs gallery and offering a range of Tourist Information to visitors to Ross. The collective members steward on a voluntary basis to keep the venue open 7 days a week, from 10.00 – 4 daily. During these 2 years visitor numbers and sales have been gradually increasing, which is good news for the Council, the Courtyard and the collective, who are delighted they have this opportunity.

Made in Ross has continued to thrive and grow since it was set up, as artists have left and new ones have joined. The current collective includes 4 of the original founding members, in particular Eleanor Kercher who has successfully Chaired the group and Chris Champness who is Secretary.  Between them the current collective members offer an exciting range of 2D art (watercolours and acrylics) glass, wood, textiles, photography and sculpture.
