Kington Intermediates

The Intermediates are currently rehearsing their play 14 Reasons not to be in a Play for The Courtyard’s Inspired Festival in March.  The Inspired Festival is an opportunity for young people to create performances relating to themes that are important to them. It is also a fantastic weekend to highlight the talent and diversity of the different groups within the youth theatre.

The Intermediates play focuses around the different skills needed to put on a play and the importance of the arts. Their performance will be in the studio theatre on Sunday 22 March at 7.30pm.

Kington Seniors

The seniors are working towards a physical theatre festival led by International Theatre Company, Highly Sprung. Over the next few months, they will be workshopping ideas, receive training from the artists and perform at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.

Their piece will revolve around the importance of climate change, protecting the environment and extinction. So far, they have researched these areas, looked at the inspiring work of Greta Thunberg and ways that we can protect our world. Their devised performance will be showcased in the summer term.
