Ancestry at The Courtyard!

Trace your Family Tree, For Free!

To celebrate the critically acclaimed production of Birdsong coming to The Courtyard, we have teamed up with Ancestry to offer the people of Hereford a chance to trace their ancestors for FREE this June!

Ancestry will be offering free access to its database from our Media Suite to coincide with the critically acclaimed stage show Birdsong. This will allow visitors to taste the Ancestry experience and discover more about their family histories through Ancestry’s extensive online records.

Ancestry.co.uk offers access to 1 billion searchable UK family history records. This extensive collection enables members to explore their family history using historic censuses, the fully indexed birth, marriage and death records, passenger lists, the British phone books, military and parish records.

We’re also offering a fantastic opportunity to win a worldwide subscription to Ancestry and an Ancestry DNA kit when booking tickets to see the production of Birdsong. Audiences who book tickets to see the production will be automatically entered into the competition.

Later in the year, Ancestry will also hold a talk about family histories and genealogy. The talk will be held on Saturday 18 July and will coincide with The Courtyard Senior Youth Theatre’s brand new work, HeRo, which focuses on the Herefordshire Regiment during the First World War.

Ancestry access will be available from The Courtyard’s free Media Suite from Monday 1 – Tuesday 30 June. Please ask at Box Office for details 01432 340555.
