AUDITIONS FOR MOTHER GOOSE

An award-winning family pantomime with an unrivalled reputation for invention and quality, right in the heart of rural Herefordshire.

Bubble and Squeak are sooooooooo bored. Being a fairy is simply no fun if you can’t get up to mischief but they’re not really supposed to meddle in the lives of humans which is frankly the best place ever for mischievous activity…

Lucie Goose is human. And Lucie Goose is lovely. She just wishes that she could also be beautiful. She’d give anything to be beautiful again, just like she was when she was young.

“Anything?” wonders Squeak. “Absolutely anything?”

Bubble and Squeak make a bet that sees life in the shire descend into chaos. And all the while the greedy Squire Blackrock just gets richer and richer…

Following the resounding success of last year’s hilarious ‘Sleeping Beauty’, The Courtyard’s creative team is now looking for professional triple-threat performers for the following roles:-
Brucie Goose (Mother Goose’s son)
Bee Blackrock (daughter of Squire Blackrock)
Bubble (the nice fairy)
Squeak (the naughty fairy)
Male and female dancers/ensemble

Information about the auditions can be found in the downloads. If you would like to be considered for an audition, please respond to our call-out on Spotlight if you (or your agent) are a member; this is our preferred casting platform. If you are not on Spotlight, then please email your CV (including headshot), plus dance, acting and singing reels, to mel.langford@courtyard.org.uk by 26 May 2025. Audition applications without reels will not be considered.

We look forward to hearing from you…
