Brookfield school perform at The Courtyard

Brookfield Primary School recently performed a space themed showcase at The Courtyard! We were really happy to give the whole school the opportunity to perform following the success of their performance at Moving Targets.

Over the past few months The Courtyard have been working with different classes at Brookfield primary school to bring to life a poem set in space. Participants were astronauts, spaceships, planets, and aliens, drawing and using creativity to come together and make something as a whole group. The project has aimed to boost children’s confidence, creative thinking and teamwork skills through drama. We felt privileged to give the children the chance to perform.  The school performed to a packed audience who were even treated to a song to finish off the showcase.

There were certificates given out as well and a special thanks to our assistants from the secondary school.

In the lead up to the performance they drew pictures and wrote poems which were displayed in the foyer for visitors to see. Check out some pictures from the exhibition!
