We’re delighted to be hosting a range of children’s summer holiday workshops at The Courtyard over the coming months!

 

Olympic Facebook Live Week – Monday 12 – Friday 16 July

A week of online workshops celebrating all things Olympics. Delivered via Facebook Live.

These sessions are free to attend and there is no need to book.


Be A Star Week Online – Monday 26 – Friday 30 July

A series of online workshops aimed at young people, aged 8-15 with or without additional needs and/or disabilities. By attending this week of workshops, participants will also complete their Discover Arts Award, a nationally recognised qualification. Sessions will be delivered online via Zoom. Links and codes will be sent in booking confirmation email.

Courtyard Adventures – Monday 9 – Friday 13 August

Courtyard Adventures is a series of drama based, summer holiday workshops for children aged 7 – 12.

Adventure is everywhere… and you don’t need to travel far to find it! Join The Courtyard as we use drama to traverse deserts, explore rainforests, climb mountains and conquer space. This summer, it’s time to rediscover your sense of adventure!

The Courtyard Adventures workshops will be delivered in person at The Courtyard.

Film Making Week – Monday 23 – Friday 27 August

Film club

Enter the world of film! Get to grips with the basics such as; script writing, story boarding, cinematography, directing, sound and lighting! Working in small groups your crew will explore film making equipment, plan, shoot and edit your own short film.

The week will be led by experienced film practitioner, Kie Cummings. Suitable for ages 14+.
