Courtyard Casino Night Success!

Carrie, Emily and Steve Cameron, Phil Pearcy, Shaun Meredith and Katie CameronOur first ever Casino Night was a huge success, with all proceeds supporting The Courtyard’s Mind the Gap! fundraising campaign.

Thank you so much to everybody who attended! Thank you also to our fantastic sponsors, Monnow Electrical Services.

The Shack BoysWe also couldn’t have hosted this event without the generous support of great local businesses: The Shack Revolution, Cotswold MINI, The Hibiscus Room, BBR Optometry, Hampton Hire Limited, Castle House and Nothing but the Grape. Thank you all, and watch this space for future great charity fundraising nights out at The Courtyard!

Casino Night on The Courtyard's Main Stage
The stage and the Shack Revolution cocktail bar in the auditorium looked amazing, people loved the setting and warmth and friendliness of the atmosphere, and there’s certainly an appetite for gaming in Hereford!

Here’s what guests had to say…

A big ‘thank you’ to everyone at the Courtyard for organising such a splendid evening last night. The gambling could have gone on into the early hours. There was no let up at the ‘tables’ from the start to 10.30pm. I met a couple who I hadn’t seen in six/seven years – was great to catch up. My companion thoroughly enjoyed herself – said there was a brilliant, friendly, fun atmosphere. I thought the pricing for entry, the ‘chips’ and drinks was spot on. Black tie, ladies dressing up, layout with the tables and cocktail bar made it an evening that all will want to do again, of that I’m sure. – David Fowler

I would just like to say how fantastic last night was! First time attending an event with yourselves and I hope you had a good success with the donations! Would love to see another night organised summer time maybe and would like to offer my assistance in any way I can. – Josh Vaughan

Well done guys! Top effort. The set-up was great and we all had a brilliant time at the casino night. I mean it was really, REALLY good fun (as you could probably tell from all the drinking and the dancing). Mr Bick came in to pick up his prizes first thing this morning and he also said that he had a fab evening. Here’s hoping that the success of the evening is reflected in the funds raised! – Phil Pearcy
