My Mad Mum

Everyone knows Andy and everyone knows his mum, or at least they think they do…People are always calling her names and whispering about her behind his back. When the new girl, Harper, arrives at Andy’s school, they strike up a special friendship. But is Harper hiding something, and how long will it be before their home lives collide?

My Mad Mum is a free play for anyone aged 11+. Set to a soundtrack of modern music, it explores what it means to be a young person with a parent with a mental illness and how to support others in the same situation.
