Introducing The Courtyard Youth Board

Introducing The Courtyard Youth Board! The Courtyard is delighted to announce the set up of our new Youth Board! The Youth Board has been established to give young people the chance to meet and discuss ways in which the Youth Theatre experience could be improved for them. By meeting twice a term we hope to create initiatives and opportunities for all Youth Theatre members.

We asked The Courtyard Youth Board to tell us a little about why they joined the Youth Theatre Board and this is what they said…

Chloe, Year 7:

“I want to inspire others to join the Youth Theatre and to go on trips to advertise The Courtyard. I also want to try and encourage more major, main stage plays”

Caydon, Intermediates

“I joined the Youth Board because I wanted the chance to debate particular things about the Youth Theatre”

Eden, Year Eight

“Because the Courtyard is like a second home and has grown my confidence”

“I wanted to join the Youth Board because I wanted to help make the Youth Theatre a fun place for everyone”
