Kington Senior Youth Theatre devise performance for CLD Anniversary Event

The Kington Seniors were invited to perform as part of the CLD Trusts Anniversary Event at The Courtyard on Thursday 21 November.

The evening celebrated the fantastic work and achievements of the CLD over the past twenty years.

CLD that offers a range of counselling services across Herefordshire.

The Kington Seniors devised a short performance inspired by case studies of young people in Herefordshire who had accessed help with the CLD. Using these accounts, the Youth Theatre members created a number of characters that represented the challenges that young people face, the help they can receive and the growing need for support services. The Youth Theatre were proud to be able to contribute to the evening and highlight these stories to the community through artistic means. They are amazed by the continuous work of the CLD team and delighted to be able to give something back.
