Spectrum | Facing everyday obstacles

Spectrum is about four teenagers that face everyday obstacles and how they try to overcome them. I play a character called Lucas. He goes on a journey showing the story of a growing relationship and its different stages.

I wanted to create this performance to show people the different challenges that teenagers face and challenge the stereotypes of teenagers.

During rehearsals, we have learnt more about mental health. David Harding came in from Herefordshire Mind to lead a workshop and told us more about mental health and how we can help people who may be experiencing bad mental health.
I hope to gain from the performance an understanding about different teenager’s lives and the types of struggles and obstacles that they face.

An audience should come and see Spectrum to show them the view on life from a teenager’s perspective and the obstacles that they face.
