★★★★★ “When it comes to staging a show using the talents of a Junior Youth theatre, you might think there is enough to think about getting around 45 kids to learn the necessary combination of song, dance and acting. For their show The Jungle Book, The Courtyard Youth Theatre went one better. Alternating across the performances, they cast a completely different set of youngsters so each show consists of either the Orange team or the completely different Green team.

It is hard to imagine the amount of work which went into the show but, apart from having to contend with a few sound and microphone glitches on the night, both the cast and the audience enjoyed it immensely. As an example of community engagement on a wide scale and across a range of ages, this is an impressive show.”
