Dance Fusion Presents: Swan Lake

The talented students at Dance Fusion are excited to present the enchanting, classic ballet, Swan Lake, and also a selection of toe tapping Disney songs to showcase our tap, jazz, and contemporary dancers.

Swan Lake has remained one of the world’s most beloved classical ballets for more than a century. It is an achingly beautiful fairytale told through unparalleled choreography and Tchaikovsky’s indelible score that has long surpassed the test of time.

It tells the story of young Prince Siegfried who falls in love with Princess Odette. Odette and her companions transform into swans under the spell cast by evil sorcerer Rothbart. Their days are spent gracefully gliding on a lake only to return to their human form at night. The only thing that can break the spell is true love and Rothbart will do anything in their power to stop it.

The Dancing Disney section of the show will have you wanting to get up out of your seats and join in with the Disney classics and current popular songs. There’s something for everyone!
