Friends & Patrons
Become a Friend or a Patron here online, or for further information contact Box Office on 01432 340555.
The Courtyard has over 1,100 core supporters – Friends, Patrons and Life Patrons – who belong to our individual memberships scheme. Our members (and donors recognised via the Derek Jacobi Courtyard Circle) are the backbone of our organisation through their dedication to the arts and their great support of our work in Herefordshire and beyond. Our members give regularly and generously to The Courtyard, not just financially, but in terms of volunteer time – many are also stewards – and as ambassadors for our wide ranging community arts programmes eg with older people who have dementia.
In exchange, our memberships provide a range of benefits, from ticket discounts to priority booking and Café Bar points which can be converted into free drinks and snacks, as well as regular socialising opportunities at Patron level and above.
For that special and unique present, why not give a Gift Membership as a gift for Christmas, a birthday or that special anniversary?
On 5 April 2017, we relaunched our Friends & Patrons scheme. The new-look scheme is outlined in the New Membership Scheme leaflet that can be downloaded from this page. If you currently have an ‘older style’ membership, your benefits will remain unchanged until the next membership renewal. You will then be able to choose which membership level will suit you in future.
Life Patrons & The Derek Jacobi Courtyard Circle
The Life Patron/Life Patron Plus scheme closed to new members on 31 December, 2016 but all existing Life Patrons will continue receiving benefits agreed when they joined the scheme.
The Derek Jacobi Courtyard Circle, named after our Honorary Patron, Sir Derek Jacobi, is no longer part of the membership scheme but exists to recognise and thank individual supporters who have kindly donated £500 or more to The Courtyard in any one year and at any one time.
