As well as being a theatre, independent cinema and exhibition space, The Courtyard is a registered charity (charity no. 1067869) delivering hundreds of creative community participation sessions every year, all supported by donations from individuals, businesses and grant-makers.

The Courtyard’s innovative Education and Outreach programmes are at the heart of our mission to offer quality creative experiences Herefordshire residents and visitors, as well as developing and nurturing the next generation of artistic talent. This programme ranges from our annual family festival to music sessions and holiday workshops for young people with additional needs and increasing accessibility at the venue so we are more inclusive.

Your support is vital and here are some of the ways you can help:

• Make a one-off donation – any size of gift is greatly appreciated and if you can Gift Aid it, we receive an extra 25% from the Government.
• Make a monthly donation – direct debit forms are now available at Box Office
• Take your seat – sponsor a seat in our Main House or Studio for five years, with a personalised dedication plaque
• Become a Friend or Patron – you’ll enjoy some great benefits including priority booking and discounts
